ARTIST STATEMENT – “Art of a Thousand Cuts”
Creating mosaic art is my way of weaving together fragments of life into a beautiful and meaningful whole.
As I carefully place each piece, I am reminded of the intricate nature of existence and how seemingly disconnected elements can come together to form a breathtaking work of art. Through my mosaics, I hope to convey the essence of unity, diversity, and the beauty that emerges when we embrace both the brokenness and the wholeness of life. Join me on this journey of exploration and discovery, where every fragment has a place, and every piece tells a story.
Every piece of stained glass carries a history, a story of its own, waiting to be interwoven into the larger tapestry of my mosaic. As I explore the interplay of light and shadow, I am reminded of the complexities of life - the moments of joy, sorrow, hope, and resilience that shape our experiences. Through my mosaics, I seek to encapsulate this kaleidoscope of human emotions, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world where brokenness is not a flaw but a steppingstone towards wholeness.
